Westwood Lakes is a great fishing retreat located on the outskirts of Boston and surrounded by the peaceful Lincolnshire countryside. The owner has always aspired to create a place just for those who love to fish and he succeeded.

With 7 fishing lakes in total, 24 luxury holiday lodges for you to stay in, a restaurant on site and Lincolnshire’s biggest tackle and bait shop, you have everything you need. Not only that, there is also the Mallard Lounge Bar that overlooks one of the lakes and is a place where guests can relax and enjoy a couple of drinks.

The fishing prices are as follows for April 1st to October 31st:

  • Day Ticket (8am – 6pm): £7

And from November 1st to March 31st:

  • Day Ticket (8am – 6pm): £7
  • Guest Day Ticket (Dawn – Dusk): £6
  • Guest Week Ticket (Dawn – Dusk): £25

Rossways Lakes and Lodges

Located in Boston, Rossways Lakes and Lodges is a family run fishing destination that is popular with both budding and keen anglers. There are a number of lakes to suit everyone, which is great for the whole family, and some of the fish can weigh up to 20lb!

Rossways features an 85-year-old one-acre lake filled with a selection of fish that include:

  • Carp
  • Tench
  • Bream
  • Crucians

As well as this, there are smaller ponds suitable for beginners and children, which has a variety of fish as well. There are multiple methods to use for fishing on these lakes such as pole, float fishing and ledgering. Another plus is that you can fish in the day or night time.

Blyton Ponds

Blyton Ponds offers adult only holidays for you to escape to and they boast of some incredible accommodation, four well stocked lakes and a breakfast service café. Whether you want to have a solitary holiday, a couples retreat or get a group of friends together, Blyton Ponds is a great choice.

With multiple ponds that are open to residents and day ticket holders, you are bound to catch something great. Below you can find details for each pond:

  • Pond A and B: are interlinked ponds with 15 and 12 pegs, have a selection of tench, bream, barbel, chub, perch and orfe. They are open to residents and day tickets.
  • Pond C: is a 16-peg pond nearest to the accommodation. It produces carp, orfe, barbel, chub, goldfish, shubunkin, koi and even a few hybrids. However, it is only open to residents.
  • Lastly, Pond D: is a canal pond, well stocked with barbel, carp, roach, chub and bream and is open to residents, and only day tickets on the weekend.
