The William Cecil at Stamford

There are 27 individually themed and well-equipped en-suite rooms at The William Cecil at Stamford. The beds are ultra comfy, and the finest quality Egyptian bed linen is crisp and smooth.

You can choose from 3 categories of room: the Classic (these rooms are smaller, but they are still very well equipped and extremely comfy), the Chic and the Luxury. Try to get a room at the back of the hotel – the front of the hotel does overlooks a road and it can get busy at certain times of the day.

Free wi-fi, flat screen tvs, complementary toiletries, speciality tea/coffee/biscuits are all standard – as is the complementary organic vodka!

There are two excellent restaurants at The William Cecil, both serving delicious local produce that has been expertly cooked and stylishly presented.

The restaurant serves breakfast, Sunday lunch and dinner.

For elevenses, lunch, afternoon tea, or a less formal dinner  – the bar/terrace/conservatory has it covered.

The William Cecil presents very moreish modern British food  in a relaxing, friendly atmosphere, with second-to-none service.

All dietary requirements are catered for.

The William Cecil at Stamford is a dog-friendly hotel. Specific bedrooms are set aside for pooches and their owners. Should you wish to breakfast together, this can be arranged – simply inform reception of your wish the night before – and your breakfast will be served in the bar area. For total canine indulgence, there is even a dog room-service menu. Doggy heaven!

All in all, The William Cecil at Stamford is a lovely boutique hotel in Lincolnshire, that offers the ultimate in style and comfort without breaking the bank. It is the perfect place to break your journey if you’re travelling on the A1, going to the Burghley Horse Trials, or simply exploring the beautiful county of Lincolnshire.
